Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Brooklyn is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Nice place with friendly service and good bagels, reasonably priced. I was actually surprised it was pretty cheap, UNTIL I got my bagel. There's BARELY any meat at all. Mine was supposed to have turkey and cheese. They actually put more cheese than Turkey. This is really a FIRST for me.

I have been a loyal customer at Black Seed Bagels for nearly three years, and I can confidently say that Alex is one of the best managers and customer service professionals I have ever encountered. From the moment you walk into the store, itโ€™s obvious that she is the driving force behind its success. She runs an incredibly efficient operation, maintains high standards, and leads her team with confidence and professionalism. The staff clearly respect her, and the positive culture she creates is reflected in the excellent customer experience every single day. As a regular customer, Alex knows me by name and remembers my order without fail. More often than not, she already has it prepared or is making sure everything is moving smoothly. If there is ever a delay or mistake, she addresses it immediately and goes above and beyond to make things right. In nearly three years of visiting this location regularly, I have never had a negative experience when Alex is working. What truly sets her apart is her warmth and genuine care for people. She makes every customer feel valued, welcomed, and appreciated. Whether the store is busy or quiet, she remains calm, attentive, and consistently kind

This tiny spot is tucked into the ground floor beside the entrance to the Ace Hotel, and is very popular almost every day. It takes a few minutes to get your food, but the staff are working hard and efficiently and the food itself is really good. Youโ€™ll pay a pretty penny for some options (like smoked salmon as an add-on being the same cost as a whole specialty bagel without it), but theyโ€™re using high end fresh ingredients so itโ€™s not entirely surprising. Iโ€™m sure their take out business is booming. In fact you may well compete with the take out orders if you walk in. So thatโ€™s why it can take a fair few mins. Overall: One of the better bagels Iโ€™ve had honestly in the area!

I was the only customer in there and it took them like 10 minutes to start making my bagel. The interior layout is cluttered and a bit corporate. Bagel was pretty good though.

Great spot to grab a bagel in Brooklyn. Small space so not too much room to sit as many people try to set up laptops and juat hang...but if you get a seat to eat well worth it. I got the Classic Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on Plain. Nice toasted bagel and good amount of bacon, Worth It!!! Coffee was good and strong also, for all the black coffee drinkers.
